Com suas aplicações em pesquisas, meios de comunicação, indústria, etc, necessitou-se estabelecer meios e formas de comunicação entre os computadores. A comunicação entre computadores deve ser rápida para aproveitar-se sua característica de velocidade. Nos sistemas de comunicação existem equipamentos conhecidos por modem's que procuram fazer com que a informação vá de um ponto a outro com maior confiabilidade. Como parte do modem, tem-se o equalizador. Este item tem o maior peso no custo do modem com o aumente da velocidade de comunicação. Neste trabalho estuda-se uma proposta de equalização baseada na memória do canal de comunicação onde procura-se atingir maior velocidade na comunicação com menor custo. É tentado modelar o canal de comunicação através da interferência intersimbólica. Foram estudados quatro modelos. Entre eles destacou-se com melhor rendimento o denominado SISTEMA REALIMENTADO COM RECUPERAÇÃO PELA ASSOCIAÇÃO DIRETA . Neste trabalho são ainda descritos os outros modelos, fazendo-se comparações entre os mesmos.Computers are machines that work at high speed. Since that computers are largely used in research, communications, industry applications, etc, there is a need to provide an adequated communication channel which takes into account the high processing speed of the computers. The modem (modulator/demodulator) are equipments normally used in the communication systems to provide the coupling with the communication channel characteristics. Equalization is normally available in a modem and this item has an crescent and significant weight in the modem cost evaluation when we increase the data rate. It is the aim of the present work to develop a model of equalization based on the channel communication memory where we tried to attain high velocity at lower cost. We have modeled the communication channel by means of intersymboli nterference. Four equalization models were studied. The model named "Feedback System with Recuperation by Direct Association", showed to have the best performance and is described in this work together with comparisons between the various models studied
